Life happens to you.
Every day.
Every damn day.
Something arrives in the mail.
Someone calls.
Someone emails.
Someone texts.
Life happens to you.
Sometimes in wonderful welcomed drips.
Sometimes in cascading waves of figurative shit.
If you’re having plumbing issues, sometimes literally.
It is usually unavoidable and therefore requires little to no forward worry or concern.
React accordingly and move on.
But hear me out…
At the other end of each of those things that ‘happen’ to you is someone or something making them happen.
Perhaps some higher-up twerp in a cubicle.
Perhaps some considerate angel-like person who just wants to see you happy.
Perhaps some unattended situation that you’ve successfully avoided until you can’t.
You can be that twerp.
You can be that angel.
You can attack that situation before it attacks you.
Or, in simpler terms…
You can just start making things happen.
You know, stop waiting for them to happen to you.
Stop letting life happen to you.
Start making things happen in life.

Exactly right.. stop WAITING for things to happen. Stop waiting period. Just start your own roll and watch how much better things get.

Such a hard lesson to learn. Calling your own shots is hard to do - even harder when you are reacting rather than taking the lead.
